Sheepish-Orientation!

Since I have started working at Dwellworks, one of my projects that I have been tasked with doing is Orientation Packages. Orientation Packages are something that we give our clients and customers and it's filled with information about the area they are going to or sending someone to. If anyone has heard of the province Saskatchewan in Canada, it's a very rural province with the entire population of the province actually being less than the population of Ottawa which is the city Dwellworks Canada is based out of!

So Saskatchewan has a very low population, but a high number of small towns, villages and cities. I have been tasked with making Orientation Packages for towns, villages and cities within Saskatchewan. Lately I have been working on Orientation Packages that are for villages with populations ranging from as low as 66 people, to a high population rate of 1000 people. These villages are extremely small and it is so interesting to see and learn about the culture of these little towns and villages!

I recently have learned about a small small village in Saskatchewan where in the summer months, this village which is built around a small park, would release sheep into the middle of this park once or twice a month and that was how they maintained the grass in the park! The sheep would once a month get released into this park and eat all of the grass to keep it at a proper level and this would be an interesting event and attraction for the village.

Needless to say, there is some very interesting, or weird (depending how you look at it), places in the world and I'm thrilled to be tasked with an opportunity to learn about them!
